Four Year Olds And T-Ball

a match made in sport hilarity heaven. :D

I got to watch the boys at their t-ball practice yesterday. John was very focussed; listening to the coach, running the bases, attempting to corral a rolling ball in his glove. William, on the other hand, was content to play in the sand, covering not only himself, but his friend in it's sandy glory. Hitting the t was more what William did than hit the ball itself. Corralling rolling balls weren't nearly as fun as digging in the sand. :S It was quite the experience, that's for sure. Enjoy the pictures! ;)

John running the bases; cap askew.

William rounding third and heading for home!

John, waiting somewhat patiently for the next activity...

William messing around with his friend while waiting for the next activity. Notice the difference between how my two boys act? ~sigh~ Oh, and I know you can't tell, but it's sand he's got in his hand... :S

John trying to trap a rolling ball from his partner...

William recovering a ball he let slip past his glove.

I don't know - a bunch of kids throwing balls (without aim) at each other. Is it really a good idea? Love the pictures.
