Return To "Normal"

Sadly, today we will pack away all of our Christmas stuff.

I feel like we hardly had it up at all. Maybe it's because Thanksgiving was later this year than I remember in a while. Maybe it's because I felt pretty rushed working until the 23rd. I don't know; but it doesn't feel like we've celebrated all that much this year.

Normally, I like to have Christmas stuff out until at least the Epiphany. Ever since the boys were born, though, I try to have it down before the New Year as I don't want Christmas running into their birthday. All the trappings of Christmas come down to make their day as unique and special as possible. Besides, I hardly think Batman and Power Rangers mesh so well with the Saviour's birth. ;)
