The old saying that "Life's a journey and not a destination" just doesn't work for me...especially when travelling. We left early this morning and after 13 hours on the road, I was wishing I could snap my fingers and just be home. I was also wishing William's bladder wasn't so little. Ugh!
We're home, we're safe, we're tired and I think my ears have finally stopped popping from being up in the mountains in Pennsylvania.
For me, travelling is about the destination. The journey oftentimes sucks!

I'm in 100 percent agreement with you. The other day in the car I was telling my kids about "I Dream of Jeannie" and wishing we could just wiggle our noses to get to our destination.
